Bobbito Garcia, DJ and bonafide sneakerfreak: “"Sneakerpedia is going to be MADNESS! I love the idea that anyone can participate, from serious collector to casual wearer to legendary designer to fitness junkie, my generation backwards and forwards. It will also help me out because now when someone on the train asks, "What kind of sneakers are those?" I can swiftly tell them, "Oh, just do a search for them on Sneakerpedia -and let me finish reading my newspaper, thank you!!"

The Sneakerpedia Beta Site launches on 8th December 2010. The official site will go live in February 2011. To upload your own collection or to just check out the crate of others visit  Follow the latest in Sneakerpedia news on Twitter @Sneakerpedia and
